Scroll springs enable tubes and cables to be conveniently coiled back after use by providing an automatic retracting force, keeping them neat and easy to store. Made from coiled steel bands, scroll springs utilize the elasticity of the bands to generate torque, ensuring efficient and reliable winding.
Working Principle
- The inner bore of the scroll spring connects to the center shaft of the tube winder.
- When external force rotates the shaft relative to the scroll spring, the spring coils and stores torque.
- Once the force is removed, the scroll spring uses its stored torsion to automatically retract wires, tubes, or cables back into the box.
Key Features
- Self-recovering: After being stretched or compressed, the volute/scroll spring quickly returns to its original shape, ensuring automatic tube retraction.
- Stable Torque: Provides consistent retracting force throughout its service life.
- Long Service Life: Engineered for durability and reliable performance over time.
