jacket magnetic centrifugal pump in titanium or other metal

Suspended metal magnetic pump with jacket combines magnetic drive technology, high temperature and corrosion resistance of metal materials and jacket temperature control function, which is suitable for high temperature, high pressure and corrosive liquid transportation.

Description

The jacket magnetic centrifugal pump is engineered to ISO2858 standards, featuring fluid-contact components made from premium metals such as 304, 316, 316L stainless steel, titanium, and more. With an intermediate coupling, maintenance is simple—just dismantle the coupling without removing pipelines or the motor. This pump is ideal for transporting high-temperature and corrosive liquids in demanding industrial environments.

Performance

  • Flow rate: 1.8 to 400 m³/h
  • Lift: 15 to 125 m
  • Maximum operating temperature: 400°C
  • Withstanding pressure: 1.6 MPa

Applications

  • Strong corrosive chemical media
  • Organic chemical media and mixed organic/inorganic fluids
  • Chemical industry
  • Petrochemical industry
  • Metallurgical industry
  • Electric power industry

Key Features & Advantages

  • Suspended structure: The motor and drive system are suspended outside the pump body, fully isolating the liquid from external drive components and preventing leaks.
  • Magnetic drive: Power is transmitted via magnetic coupling, eliminating mechanical seals and ensuring a completely leak-free operation—perfect for toxic, volatile, or corrosive liquids.
  • Jacketed design for temperature control: The pump body is surrounded by a jacket, allowing the circulation of coolant or heated liquid to maintain optimal temperature for both pump and fluid. Prevents overheating or freezing and keeps fluid within the required temperature range.
  • High temperature and corrosion resistance: Metal pump body (stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium alloy) enables reliable performance in harsh, corrosive, and high-temperature environments.
  • High efficiency and energy saving: Magnetic coupling reduces friction and energy loss, while jacket thermal management optimizes pump operation and energy use.
  • Adaptable to high pressure and high flow: Robust metal materials allow operation under high pressure and high flow conditions—ideal for complex industrial applications.

Working Principle

  • The external motor drives the internal rotor (impeller) via a magnetic field, pushing liquid through the pump—no direct contact, no mechanical seal, no leaks.
  • The external jacket circulates coolant or heating fluid to regulate pump and fluid temperatures, preventing overheating, freezing, or unwanted phase changes.

Common Material Selection

  • Stainless steel (304, 316): Excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
  • Hastelloy: Outstanding resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and solvents.
  • Titanium alloy: Superior high temperature and corrosion resistance for extreme environments.

Maintenance & Precautions

  • Regularly inspect the magnetic drive system to ensure proper function.
  • Monitor jacket fluid circulation for effective temperature control.
  • Avoid prolonged pump overloading to maximize lifespan.
