The working principle of skid-mounted screw air compressor:
The skid-mounted screw air compressor adopts twin-screw compression technology, in which the air is sucked in by two screw rotors meshing with each other and is compressed in an ever-shrinking volume space.
In the first stage of compression, the air enters the low-pressure screw and is compressed to intermediate pressure and then enters the intercooler.
After cooling down, the air enters the second stage of the screw compression chamber and is further compressed to the final pressure (up to 40 bar).
The compressed high pressure air is then processed by an aftercooler and vapor separator to remove moisture and impurities, making the output air purer and more suitable for applications with high gas quality requirements.
In addition, the equipment is also equipped with a fuel heating starting system. When starting in low temperature environment, the fuel heater circulates the heat generated from diesel fuel combustion to the body coolant and lubricating oil to increase the engine temperature and ensure fast starting in low temperature environment.
