The skid-mounted design of our reciprocating compressors integrates all major components—including the compressor, cooling system, drive, and control system—into a single frame for easy transportation and rapid deployment. This approach significantly reduces installation and commissioning time, making it ideal for applications needing quick startup and robust performance under demanding conditions.
Principle of Operation
Skid-mounted reciprocating compressors operate on the reciprocating piston compression principle:
- Suction process: Downward piston motion opens the suction valve, drawing gas into the cylinder.
- Compression process: Upward piston movement compresses the gas, increasing pressure and temperature to the desired level.
- Exhaust process: Once set pressure is achieved, the exhaust valve opens, releasing compressed gas to pipelines or storage.
- Return process: The piston returns to start a new cycle.
The integrated, skid-mounted design means all equipment is pre-assembled, allowing for fast onsite installation and commissioning.
