centrifugal cyclone dust collector for industrial waste gas
Centrifugal cyclone dust collector, also known as cyclone separator, is a kind of high-efficiency dust removal equipment that utilizes centrifugal force to realize gas-solid separation.
Description
Centrifugal Cyclone Dust Collector Overview
Centrifugal cyclone dust collector is suitable for removing dry dust with large particles and large specific gravity from industrial waste gas, and is suitable for primary purification link. Dust-containing gas enters into the equipment in a high-speed tangential direction, forming a strong rotating airflow, the dust is separated under the joint action of centrifugal force and gravity, and the purified gas is discharged from the system. Due to the simple structure and reliable operation, centrifugal cyclone dust collector is widely used in many industrial fields, which can be used as the main dust collector, but also often used in conjunction with bag or electric dust collector to play a pre-treatment role.
Features of Centrifugal Cyclone Dust Collector
- Compact structure, easy to manufacture and install, small footprint.
- No need for filter material, no internal wearing moving parts, small operation and maintenance.
- Adaptable, can handle high temperature (up to 400 °C), high concentration, large particles of dust.
- High stability of the equipment, even in harsh environments can be long-term reliable operation.
Advantages of Centrifugal Cyclone Dust Collector
- High removal efficiency for particles above 5μm, suitable for dry, non-sticky dust treatment.
- Low equipment cost, low operating cost, no additional energy.
- Multiple devices can be flexibly combined and connected in parallel, easily handling large air volume, efficiency and resistance remain stable.
- Suitable for matching with subsequent high-efficiency dust removal equipment, reduce the load of subsequent equipment and extend the service life.
- Wear-resistant, suitable for hard particles, abrasive working conditions.
Working Principle of Centrifugal Cyclone Dust Collector
When the dust-containing gas enters the dust collector cylinder along the tangential direction, the gas begins to rotate along the inner wall of the equipment at a high speed, forming a downward spiral main gas flow. Due to the circular motion of the gas, the dust particles are thrown to the wall under the effect of inertia and centrifugal force, and lose kinetic energy after colliding with the wall, and then slide down along the wall into the lower dust hopper. At the same time, the clean gas in the center of the cylinder to form a second upward vortex flow, discharged through the exit. The entire separation process is realized entirely by gas dynamics without external energy input. The main factors affecting efficiency include inlet velocity, equipment size ratio, and airflow path design.
Application Areas of Centrifugal Cyclone Dust Collector
- Mining industry: crushing, screening, conveying system dust recovery.
- Metallurgical industry: blast furnace raw material treatment, smelting furnace exhaust smoke pretreatment.
- Refractory materials: silo, mixing, calcination link dust removal.
- Coal industry: coal powder preparation, transfer and storage dust removal.
- Chemical industry: powder transportation and drying system dust control.
- Electric power industry: boiler flue gas preliminary dust removal and fly ash separation.
- Building materials industry: cement plant raw material grinding and conveying dust recovery.
- Also commonly used in grain processing, wood processing and other dust concentration, coarse particle industrial occasions.
