Air Flow Mixer Overview
Air flow mixer is not only suitable for ultra-fine powder, but also can effectively solve the problem of pseudo-agglomeration, through the air flow pulse effect, to realize rapid and uniform mixing. The design of the equipment focuses on high efficiency, low energy consumption and automation, which can be closely integrated with the automated production line, improving the production efficiency and reducing the cost of manual operation. Air flow mixer is widely used in many industries such as chemical, plastic, pharmaceutical, battery materials, food, feed, cement, ceramic raw materials and so on.
Working Principle of Air Flow Mixer
The core working principle of the air flow mixer is driven by high-pressure oil- and water-free air, and mixing is carried out by utilizing the airflow pulse effect. Treated air is ejected from the bottom of the mixer, into the upper nozzle system of the equipment, and is sprayed into the material in the form of pulses. The high-speed impact generated by the compressed air causes the material to spiral up quickly along the cylinder wall, forming a fluidized boiling mixing state. Materials in this state collide with each other, friction, and quickly achieve uniform mixing.
In the whole process, the role of pulse airflow allows the material to be fully mixed in a short period of time, and can effectively break up the pseudoagglomeration of materials. Since the airflow mixer does not rely on mechanical stirring, but utilizes the dynamic action of the airflow and the material, its mixing speed is fast and precise, and at the same time avoids the damage or deterioration of the material. Through the combination of PLC control system and touch screen, automated and unattended production can be realized and the whole process is intelligent.
Air Flow Mixer Features and Advantages
- Adaptable: air flow mixer is suitable for mixing ultra-fine powders, and can effectively break up and depolymerize pseudoagglomerates, avoiding the problem of fine particles that cannot be handled by conventional mixing equipment.
- Efficient and fast: fast mixing speed, high uniformity. According to the characteristics of different materials, the mixing process can be completed in only 4 to 10 minutes, greatly improving production efficiency.
- Mass production capacity: air mixer one-time batch processing capacity, single mixing volume can range from 1 cubic meters to 100 cubic meters, suitable for large-scale production needs.
- No dead space design: due to its special airflow effect, there is no dead space inside the mixer, the material will not appear residual phenomenon. Pulse ash removal and cleaning is very convenient, avoiding cross-contamination and keeping the mixing environment clean.
- Micro-negative pressure operation: the use of micro-negative pressure system, can effectively avoid dust leakage, to maintain a clean working environment, in line with modern environmental standards.
- Energy-saving and efficient: compared with the traditional mechanical mixing, air mixer energy consumption is greatly reduced, the unit energy consumption is only 30% to 50% of the traditional mixing equipment, reducing production costs.
- Automation and intelligence: the whole system can be controlled by touch screen and PLC, with automated production line to achieve unattended operation, improve the stability of production and automation level.
- No mechanical parts wear: because the air flow mixer using airflow rather than mechanical mixing, its no friction, no lubricant leakage characteristics, to avoid mechanical wear and heat problems, extend the service life of the equipment.
