Air Classifier Overview

Working Principle of Air Classifier

Based on the kinetic principle of airflow, the material enters the grading flow field under the action of airflow. The airflow passes through the lower part of the classifier and brings the material to the area of cage-shaped turbine rotor. Under the high speed rotation of the turbine rotor, the centrifugal force throws the large particles to the inner wall of the classifier, which is then shunted to the outlet of the coarse material and discharged. Meanwhile, the fine particles are guided by the airflow through the turbine rotor and discharged from the fine powder outlet after further screening.

By adjusting the rotating speed of the turbine and the secondary air volume of the airflow, the air classifier can flexibly control the particle size distribution of the product. The fine powder undergoes secondary classification in the classification process to ensure a finer classification effect. The fine powder is collected through cyclone collector, and the material which can not be collected is cleaned up by electric pulse bag duster.
