The thick film chain tongs are specifically designed for plastic film stretching production lines, featuring innovative spring guard and high stability reset spring mechanisms to enhance reliability, durability, and market competitiveness.
Spring Guard & Reset Mechanism
- The spring guard is positioned at the mouth of the spring holding cavity, while the high stability reset spring mechanism is set inside the cavity. One end of the spring is against the inner top surface, and the other end is against the inner bottom surface, improving reliability and service life.
- This design strengthens the spring by optimizing its angle and adding a guard, which enhances the durability of the entire attachment and the film clamping chain structure.
Structure & Clamping Principle
- Composed of a tong handle, tong body, and a spring mounted in a spring sleeve.
- The center points for the various pins are: B (long pin, tongs body and handle), M (upper pin, spring sleeve and tongs body), N/n (lower pin, spring sleeve and handle in open/closed states).
- Angles: The open clamping angle (α) and closed clamping angle (β), with β being 2–4 times α, ensure a strong and reliable clamping force.
- The film clamping part is a circular surface with a radius of 25–35 mm, suitable for thick film production.
- Double tong handle structure, each tong body equipped with 2 sets of identical tongs and springs for enhanced strength and reliability.
Performance & Application
- Clamps film thickness of 1.5–2 mm, meeting the production needs of 250–350 micron thick film.
- Accurate and reliable clamping, resistant to loosening and tearing, and able to withstand strong impacts from frequent opening and closing.
- Ideal for high-precision, robust clamping in film stretching lines and other demanding production environments.
