Multi-platen pin chains are used in a wide range of applications, including but not limited to automotive painting lines and double side roller conveyor chains. They consist of several groups of end-to-end units of conveyor chains that include two sets of inner and outer chain plates, which are located inside the inner chain plates and connected by long pins.

This kind of chain is mainly used in forklift trucks, stacker cranes and other specialized equipment, and its reliability is directly related to major property and personal safety.

  • Structural features:
    • Thicker diameter in the middle of the pin, thinner diameter on both sides, rollers mounted on top of the middle of the pin.
    • The pin passes through the inner, middle and outer chain plates and is fixed by a gear ring with the pin riveted at both ends.
    • Roller and pin are gap-fit, allowing flexible rotation; each chain plate and pin are also gap-fit for flexible movement.
    • Combination of two thick chain plates and three thin chain plates, providing uniform and symmetrical force without additional bending moments.
    • Rollers and pins are not easy to wear due to the design.
    • Heat-resistant gear ring extends chain life, prevents elongation and deformation, and ensures safety and reliability.
