SG type skeleton single lip with groove oil seal

SG type single lip oil seal, peripheral oil groove design, internal full package, single main lip oil seal with spring inside. It belongs to rotary oil seal, which is used for sealing in oiled, and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure of 0.03MPa, within 0.3kgf/m². According to the different use of media, pressure and temperature, choose a different material. Common materials include: butyl rubber SG type skeleton oil seal, fluorine rubber SG type skeleton oil seal, silicone rubber SG type skeleton oil seal and so on. They are mainly used in various industrial seals such as motor oil seals, reducer oil seals, gear box oil seals, motor oil seals, mechanical arm oil seals, wind power generation and so on.

1. Main Components
   • Skeleton: made of metal material (such as steel or iron) to provide structural support and maintain the stability and durability of the oil seal.
   • Seal lip: usually made of elastic material (e.g. rubber, Viton, etc.), the seal lip contacts with the shaft during the operation of the equipment to form a sealing effect.
   • Grooves: The sealing lip is provided with one or more grooves that are designed to hold lubricating oil or liquid to make the seal more effective.
   • Spring: The built-in spring (usually made of stainless steel) exerts a certain pressure to make the sealing lip close to the shaft, thus improving the sealing effect.
