Working Principle of Steel Slag Ball Mill
The process mainly relies on the rotary movement of the cylinder. Material enters through the inlet, and the rotating cylinder, liner, and grinding media (steel balls, segments) generate strong centrifugal force and friction. The media is lifted to a certain height then falls, causing impact, extrusion, and grinding. Steel slag is first impacted and crushed in the coarse grinding chamber, then enters the fine grinding chamber for further refinement. As particle size reduces, material is discharged through the discharge device. The process is continuous, ensuring stable output and particle size. The steel slag ball mill can be used alone or combined with a pre-powder mill for a composite grinding system, greatly improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
