TB type skeleton rotary oil seal with iron shell for speed reducer
TB type oil seal, peripheral iron shell, internal half package, double lip type oil seal with spring inside. It is one of the common standard models of skeleton oil seal, belongs to rotary oil seal, used for sealing in oil, and dusty occasions, withstanding pressure 0.03MPa, within 0.3kgf/m2.
TB type skeleton oil seal is a kind of component commonly used in mechanical sealing, which is mainly used to prevent lubricating oil, liquid or dust from entering into machine parts to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The following is a detailed introduction to the structure, principle and characteristics of TB type skeleton oil seal:
Structure
Skeleton: The skeleton of TB type skeleton oil seal is usually made of metal, which provides structural strength and rigidity for the oil seal. This part enables the oil seal to maintain its shape and position while working.
Seal Lip: This is the centerpiece of a Type TB seal and is usually made of an elastomeric material, such as rubber or polyurethane. The sealing lip presses against the surface of the shaft to form a seal.
Spring: TB type oil seals are usually equipped with one or more springs that surround the periphery of the sealing lip. The function of the springs is to provide constant pressure to ensure that the sealing lip remains tight against the shaft, thus improving sealing performance.
Outer Ring: The outer ring is the external part of the oil seal, usually made of metal or elastomeric material, which is responsible for holding the seal in its mounting position. The outer ring is in close contact with the housing where the oil seal is mounted to prevent the oil seal from shifting during operation.
Working Principle
Contact between sealing lip and shaft: The sealing lip is in close contact with the surface of the rotating shaft, through which a sealing surface is formed to prevent lubricant or liquid leakage.
The role of the spring: The spring provides additional pressure to ensure that the sealing lip is always close to the shaft surface and maintains good sealing performance even in the event of vibration or deformation of the shaft.
Support of the skeleton: The skeleton provides support for the seal to maintain a stable shape during operation and to maintain sealing effectiveness under extreme conditions such as high temperature and high pressure.
Features
High abrasion resistance: The sealing lip and skeleton material of TB type oil seals usually have good abrasion resistance and can withstand high working pressure and temperature.
Good sealing effect: Through the continuous pressure of the spring and the tight fit of the sealing lip, TB type oil seal can effectively prevent oil leakage and the entry of external contaminants.
High temperature resistance: Due to its material and design, TB type oil seal is usually able to work normally at higher temperatures, generally effective in the range of -40°C to +150°C.
Adaptable: TB type oil seals are able to adapt to various working environments, including high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments.
Long service life: Thanks to its high quality materials and structural design, TB type oil seal has a long service life, reducing the need for frequent replacement.
Different materials are selected according to different use mediums, pressures and temperatures. Common materials include: butyl rubber TB type skeleton oil seal, fluorine rubber TB type skeleton oil seal, silicone rubber TC type skeleton oil seal and so on. Iron Shell Simmerring Oil Seal, mainly used in power tools, motors, reducers, gearboxes, electric motors, industrial robots, wind power generation and other various industrial seals.
