Trenchless Horizontal Directional Drill Machine Structure
The rig adopts a split-structure design. The main power unit, main body, and control cabin are completely separated. According to user requirements, the rig’s power station can be equipped with a crawler walking system. The main body can use either a crawler self-propelled structure or a platform self-loading/unloading structure. The crawler type is equipped with an engine power of 100–145KW, while the platform self-loading/unloading type has an engine power of 45KW. The rig comes with a crane, making it convenient to transport drill pipes and reamers during construction.
Trenchless Horizontal Directional Drill Machine Hydraulic Power
- All major hydraulic components use top domestic and international brands. The rig features powerful performance, equipped with four Volvo engines. All four can operate simultaneously or in parallel pairs. If one diesel engine fails, the others can continue running, greatly improving construction safety.
- Rotary thrust uses a closed system, while the auxiliary circuit uses an open load-sensitive system.
- The rig’s hydraulic valve group supports both electric and manual operation. If there is an electrical failure, manual operation can continue as normal.
- The digital torque setting system allows the operator to set torque and pullback force according to project and drill pipe parameters, with intuitive display.
- Hydraulic system temperature is automatically controlled, and cooling capacity can be adjusted based on ambient temperature.
- The hydraulic system for the mast and crawler is detachable, facilitating transport.
Clamp Breakout Device
- Uses a three-jaw closed structure, which is more conducive to reliable drill pipe breakout.
- Clamping force is adjustable, allowing operators to set the force according to drill pipe specifications and project needs, thereby extending the service life of both drill pipes and jaws.
- The clamp breakout device is compact; even with very short drill pipe joints, it can reliably clamp and break out.
- The clamp breakout device travels the entire stroke, ensuring drill pipe joints can be removed at any position.
Power Head
- The thrust travel changes of rig from slide rail sliding friction to roller rolling friction, reducing power loss.
- The main shaft uses a floating structure, preventing wear during drill pipe breakout.
- Spindle design avoids stress concentration.
