vibrating feeder for coarse crusher to supply bulk material

Vibrating feeder is a kind of feeding equipment that conveys lumpy or granular materials from silo to the next equipment (such as crusher, screening machine, etc.) evenly and continuously through vibration.

Description

Vibrating Feeder Overview

Vibrating feeder is designed for feeding in the front section of coarse crushing, featuring a sturdy structure suitable for withstanding the high intensity impact of large ores or rocks. The vibration generation mainly depends on the exciter, usually using an eccentric shaft or electromagnetic excitation device, to realize the orderly, controlled flow of materials.

Features of Vibrating Feeder

  1. Sturdy structure and impact resistance: the frame is made of high-strength steel structure, suitable for heavy-duty working conditions.
  2. Smooth running: adopting symmetrical double eccentric shaft structure for more stable vibration during operation.
  3. With pre-screening function: the design of sieve bar allows small particles to be screened in advance, reducing the load on subsequent equipment.
  4. Uniform discharging: material travels along the trough in a jumping way, avoiding blockage and impact accumulation.
  5. Easy maintenance: parts and components are reasonably arranged, making inspection and replacement convenient.

Advantages of Vibrating Feeder

  1. Large feeding capacity: can stably convey large ores with particle size up to 800mm or less.
  2. Low energy consumption: optimized power transmission system reduces energy use while maintaining high operational efficiency.
  3. Low noise, strong environmental protection: vibration process noise is well controlled, improving the working environment.
  4. Strong adaptability: adjustable amplitude, frequency, and inclination angle to suit various working conditions and material characteristics.
  5. Long service life: sieve bar made of high manganese steel, wear-resistant alloy steel and other materials, extending the lifespan of wearing parts.

Working Principle of Vibrating Feeder

The vibrating feeder operates by a motor driving the pulley, which rotates a set of synchronously rotating eccentric shafts (or uses an eccentric block structure). The eccentric shafts are geared to maintain relative synchronous rotation. The rotation of the eccentric mass generates a periodic inertia force, creating an excitation force. This excitation force causes the feeder body to vibrate periodically under spring support, and materials are thrown up and down and move forward along the trough in a “jumping” manner, achieving continuous feeding.
If the bottom of the trough has a sieve bar structure, it can also realize preliminary screening of material during feeding.

Application Areas of Vibrating Feeder

  1. Mining and quarry: feeding large raw ore for jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher, etc.
  2. Metallurgical industry: feeding and pre-screening of iron ore, manganese ore, and other raw materials.
  3. Coal industry: evenly feeds raw coal and screens out fine coal sludge simultaneously.
  4. Building materials industry: suitable for cement, limestone, ceramic raw material feeding.
  5. Chemical and abrasive materials: quantitative conveying of granular chemical raw materials.
  6. Sand and gravel aggregate production line: preliminary grading, screening, and feeding of sand and gravel materials.
